The creaks and creeps that fill the air;
Creaking floorboards, beds, stairs.
Crawling insects and crepid ghouls...
Creeping footsteps and Cackling fools...
The strange cracks along the walls,
The peeking eyes, the crashing falls,
Crafty witches and crazy wizards,
Cooing ravens and carefree Lizards...
The creaks and creeps that fill the air;
This strange feeling, so very rare.

Like nails being dragged Slowly
Across a bumpy chalkboard.

I slowly turned the key
In an old Lock on the door,
But the muffled click echoed
Through the house
Like an explosion-
